The Ilene Kouzel Scholarship for Diversity in Leadership has just been established in honor of my friend, who died of ALS last October. The scholarship is intended to help fund participants of the Coaches Training Institute Co-Active Leadership program. More details are on the Conscious Living, Conscious Leaving blog.
While I have not gone through the program, I know of many colleagues and friends who have. What strikes me about this year-long intensive program is that participants consistently report tremendous personal growth. It’s often the catalyst to finding their own voice and the start of contributing more, much more to the world. What I like about this program is the emphasis on having the participants dive into a real-world project, to begin immediately impacting others. Ilene, a graduate of this program, often spoke of the impact this program had on her. She wanted others to experience the benefits as well.
BTW—Starting with the next Conscious Living, Conscious Leaving episode, we’ll be charging a small fee to access each interview. Part of the profits from the sale will go to this scholarship fund.
